LO is searching for a consultant to evaluate LO Norway's Combating Modern Slavery Program through Trade Unions Global Programme in Ethiopia and Ghana. Evaluations are deployed regulary to ensure continous learning and improvement.
The overall objective of this evaluation os to analyse progress and document results in LO's global Combating Modern Slavery programme
The main aim is to document and contribute to new knowledge about LO's programme work and potential to have greater impact. To do so, the evaluation will provide analysis of the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, sustainability, coherence and impact of the global Combating Modern Slavery programme.
Furthermore, the evaluation should identify good practices, lessons learned and recommandations for the remaining and coming programme periods.
The work of the Concultant will be up to 20 working days in November and December 2022. The final report should be submitted by end of January 2023. The evaluation will be conducted mailnly by field visit in Ethiopia and digital interviews. The evaluation will be guided by OECD DAC evaluation criteria.
It is required that the Consultant for this assignment possesses the following qualifications and exeriance:
Having colleagues/partners in project countries that may collect infromation directly from releant stakeholders in Ghana and Ethiopia would be considered an advantage. Understanding of social dialogue, the ILO Decent Work Agend and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 8.7 would also be an advantage.
