The main focus of the Congress will be the political and trade union situation in Norway.

In addition to the LO-leadership, the Prime Minister and other government members will address the Congress. The interventions will be based on the results of a comprehensive membership debate, carried out in 2008.

Guy Ryder, John Monks, Shaher Shaed, as well as Juan Somavia have already confirmed that they will greet the Congress at the opening ceremony Monday 11.

The Congress takes place at Folkets Hus/Oslo Kongressenter, address Youngsgt. 11, 0181 from Monday 11 May – Friday 15 May.

Simultaneous interpretation into English (4 days) and Spanish (3 days) will be provided during the Congress.
